The training courses offered by QSAE
are broadly grouped into two categories: awareness and professional
training programs. The awareness-level program
includes the following main areas.
- Quality and environmental management system
- Standardization
- Metrology
- Laboratory testing
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- Food grains quality control
- Fertilizers quality control
The professional training programs expected to be
offered in the future cover:
- Quality representative
- Quality auditor
- Quality manager
- Quality inspector/technician
In addition, courses on the basic
understanding of Ethiopian Standards on various product groups such
as coffee and tea, cereals and pulses, edible oils and fats, fertilizers
are under preparation.
