This two-day seminar was organized
by QSAE with the following objectives.
- To provide a foundation in all aspects of integrated
standardization i.e. Quality, Standards, Metrology, Testing.
- To provide awareness of the status of quality
and standardization at the national and organizational levels.
- To provide good understanding of quality improvement
and cost reduction techniques.
- To provide information on interpretation and
implementation of ISO 9000:2000 requirements.

This seminar was organized by ISO/NORAD/QSAE, which
is one of a series of seminars conducted in cooperation with ISO
Programme for Developing Countries. The seminar addressed issues
concerned with:

- Environment management systems and ISO 14000
- Life cycle assessment - Principles, legislation
and methodology
- Environmental performance evaluation
- Audit and certification of environment management
systems
- Environmental labelling
