Granting of licenses

The procedure for the use of the Quality Mark, PDF 25 KB begins with filling of an application form, OF/QS/016, PDF 54 KB, and the sebsequent processes of which include preliminary factory inspection, evaluation, granting, and periodic/follow-up surveillance in accordance with the relevant product certification scheme. Certification schemes are available on request (contact us for more info).

A total of 306 licenses have been issued to 243 companies by end of 2001. The licenses relate to some 50 Ethiopian Standards in the fields of construction materials and building, textiles and leather, chemical, agriculture and food technologies shown in list of licensed companies.
